Up until now, when meeting other people, I used to say I am graphic designer. Lately I just say that I work as a graphic designer. During our lives we tend to adopt different roles. What we do for a living does not define us completely. So I ask myself: I want to be a photographer? I want to learn how to take good pictures in technical terms, yes, but I want these pictures to show who I am.
I am a woman, I am a wife, I am a daughter, I am a sister, I am a friend. I am a reader, I am a good listener, I am not much of a talker. I am a human being, I am insecure and I am afraid of lots of things, but I am also optimistic. I am full of wonder when thinking the life I have been given. I am learning to respect myself so that I can respect others. I am lucky in so many ways and I tend to forget not to take anything for granted. I am curious about the big world out there and the obscure world inside me. I am trying to redefine myself through photography. With every picture I take I let little pieces of me float in the surface. I am exposed.
